Bhaktapur Craft Paper Ltd (BCP) was established by UNICEF/Nepal as Community Development Project in 1981 to meet the community development objectives through paper production in rural and urban areas. It has been turned and incorporated into public limited company for its independent and legal entity. BCP has been registered in Nepal Government of Industry Department keeping the name "BHAKTAPUR CRAFT PAPER LTD" (BCP) distributing its shares equally to all existing permanent staffs.

1. PRODUCTS: Greeting Cards, Stationeries and decorative paper products made of
traditional Nepali Handmade Lokta Paper and Recycled paper.

2. RATED ANNAUAL CAPACITY:
2.1 Greeting Cards:
(a) Annual capacity - 240,000 sets of cards (consists of 6 cards & 6 envelopes) in
outer envelope of 3 color print in average
(b)Monthly capacity -20,000 sets (average)
(c)Per day capacity -800 sets (average)

Note: volume of production depend on the design of the cards & no. of color printing

2.2 Dyed Papers: - 576000 sheets in average per year

2.3 Recycled Papers: - 360000 sheets in average per year

3. Working days - 288 per year

4. Working hours - 6:30 hrs a day (7 hrs. a day which include 30 minutes Lunch break)
